What an entertaining hour can one spend with the latest instalment of Century Media's Visual Rebellion. The series has reached its third chapter, and there are no signs of running short of suitable material. Each year the artists of Century Media work hard on releasing great new records, and since their videos don't make their way onto the playlists of list-programs on television, Century Media brings them to your living room (or wherever you are) via this DVD.

The musical spectrum covered within this release is quite wide - almost every facet of metal is covered, thus making this release compelling to most metal consumers. The most captivating videos are of course Nevermore's Final Product, Strapping Young Lad's Love? and Mercenary's Firesoul (just due to my personal preference). The most campy video is that of Nocturnal Rites' (I'm sure the guys had quite a few laughs while making that video).

Overall, the productional quality of this release is rather good. Most of the videos have been realized fairly well, and the picture quality of some videos is exquisite. Also the sonic face of this release has been handled well, since the sounds are apt.

For the price of a normal CD, Visual Rebellion III DVD is a bargain. You'll get 18 metal videos, most of which are riveting. Definitely recommended to all metal listeners.
