I'm always somewhat intrigued to hear what the underground black metal scene has to offer, mainly due to the fact that I haven't yet discovered too many good acts within this styling. Nonetheless, I'm aware there are some... unfortunately, Wrath doesn't seem to make its way to that group. Although "Viking" has very few somewhat "good" moments, so it doesn't convince me enough as a listener to give the album several listens.

The main problem with Wrath's album is its inferior production... the guitars do sound quite horrible, and it seem as if the album is some kind of garage production (actully each demo record I've received so far has sounded a lot better than Wrath's album). The music itself has some moderate ideas, for example, the occasional atmospheric whispers work rather well. The album is also somewhat diverse, which makes it just interesting enough to listen through (every now and then interludes connect songs to one another). Unfortunately Wrath doesn't have much to offer musically... well, at least the logo looks ok.
